tar: gtk+-3.14.0/configure: Cannot write: No space left on device error

hi i was trying to unzip a tar file using this command :-

tar xvfJ gtk+-3.14.0.tar.xz

although i am using a 32 GB sd card its giving me this error

i think its about memory alocation
