I did the best I could using the search feature but the best article I could find was from 2010. Probably get flamed anyway but here goes.
What is best way to apply thermal paste on an i7-4790k using a nepton 280l with 4 noctuas in push/pull on a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK LG 1150. I have always spread it evenly using a razor blade making it as thin as possible without bubbles. Some people say put a pea sized dot then let the pressure from the heat sink spread it. Spreading it myself takes a long time but I always thought it was the best way. Kinda of like hand driven nails vs a nail gun. So What is the best, most way to apply thermal paste. My customers are gamers, so want low heat and high overclock so what is the best blend of efficiency and efficacy in thermal paste application. Oh, and what kind (don't mention Indigo cause that is nigh impossible to do right). Thanks, if I made an forum mistakes, just chastise me and I will conform in future posts.
Best Regards,
Robby
